Shetland sheep are a diverse breed (or some would argue landrace) of sheep know for their hardiness and high quality natural colored wool. Our small flock started with one ewe and her lamb ram in 2019 and we were immediately charmed by these small sheep with big personalities. We strive to represent the full variety of heritage fleece types within our NASSA registered flock and we are always happy to discuss our wool and breeding program. Hyland Acres Smoke is a light gray katmoget with a crimpy single coated fleece that develops a strong break. He carries solid, moorit and spots.
Hedge Haven Trident is black based katmoget with spots. His gray and white fleece is transitional/double-coated-ish in style. He also carries moorit and sports a beautiful set of horns.
